Legendary right-hander John Clarkson follows through on the offered 1889 N172 Old Judge (Boston) variation. This Beaneater ace is bolstered by crystal clear sepia imagery with relatively strong corners and edges. Despite reverse soiling and a back crease which does not protrude the surface, this Cooperstown inductee otherwise presents much nicer than the assigned grade. The first example of this pose variant to have been offered in several years.
