Graded 60 EX 5 by SGC. Never heard of Paul Hines? He won the Triple Crown in 1878 and was a two-time batting champion for the Providence Grays. The star squares up on his 1887 N284 Buchner Gold Coin (Batter) pose. This 131-year-old card exhibits well-formed corners, creamy edges and intense color sequences against a period ballpark setting. Survives as 1 of 3 at the grading level with none better!
