First Offered by SGC or PSA! Graded 20 Fair 1.5 by SGC. Ornate 1908-09 Rose Co. Postcards Miller Huggins picturing the future Hall of Fame skipper early in his professional career. The black-and-white portrait of the Ohio native is framed by a gilt bat-and-ball motif. The baseball diamond setting displays only incidental corner/edge wear including wrinkling near the lower right corner. Post cancellation marks trace to the right of the player"s image. Interestingly, an advertisement for a New York confectioner is printed on the reverse. Stray notations and post markings do not seriously impact this relic"s overall presentation.
