Pictured less than a decade before his untimely death in 1903, (Big) Ed Delehanty is the subject of the offered 1895 N300 Mayo's Cut Plug portrait. The battering ram for the Philadelphia Phillies, the Cleveland native batted at a .345 clip for his career and was enshrined at Cooperstown in 1945. Graded 4 VG-EX by BVG, this 118 year-old specimen has survived the century with only moderate wear along the fragile black borders. The midnight reverse is clean and the surfaces are crease-free.
