Sid Farrar was a defensive stopper who played catcher and first base for both the Philadelphia Quakers and Athletics. Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA, this 1888 N173 Old Judge Cabinet (hands cupped, catching) pose is the only such example judged by the third-party service. The sure-handed Farrar is depicted catching a ball thrown in his direction on the bold, bright rendition.
